From my early twenties I was always drawn to great design, hand-made by true craftspeople rather than factory-made. After working in India for Reuters I got a great opportunity to start a fair trade business from there and sold to shops across Europe and the UK.

I then focused on my shop sourcing the best in contemporary fair trade from suppliers like Nkuku, Cable &Cotton, Thought etc – brands no-one has heard of 10 years ago but they’re now mainstream as people move more and more towards sustainable choices.
